The WSPA Paralegal Career Luncheon is an event designed to help you improve your skills and enhance your career!  Join us April 21st in BLDG 2  for an informational program that will benefit your career, no matter your legal specialty.  Presentation topics include:         

  ·         Professionalism in the Office:  Communication in the law office is critical.  This session will help you develop essential skills to communicate effectively (and tactfully) in email, over the telephone, anud in person.

  ·         Maximizing Your Linked-In Profile:  Learn to use Linked-In to develop and promote your brand, market yourself, build a network, find new job leads, learn more about potential employers, apply for jobs, and so much more!

  ·         Generational Differences in the Workplace:  Is your multi-generational office happy and productive or challenging and stressful?  This session will help you identify differences in thoughts, values and behaviors throughout the 5 generations that are currently in the workforce and learn to manage, communicate, and effectively work alongside other generations. 

RESUME REVIEW - - BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND!

Bring your resume with you for a brief review by our experts! Discover practical tips and helpful information for creating compelling resumes during the resume review session. Our presenters will give students individualized feedback on their resumes before the PROGRAM. Don’t forget to bring a copy of your resume to take advantage of this unique opportunity! (Resume review is limited to the time specified and includes only one review per attendee. Not all attendees are guaranteed a resume review.)

Lunch Selections

Enjoy a delicious box lunch, which includes sandwich, chips, apple and bottled water.  Sandwich selections include ham, roast beef, turkey and vegetarian.

Registration with Lunch will close, April 13th at 12 noon.  Registration without lunch will continue until April 20th at noon.  

Also, for those in attendance, we will be raffling off a ticket to the CLE day (includes lunch) for the NFPA National Conference being held here in Seattle at the Hilton at SeaTac.  The CLE day is on October 25th.
