WSPA is a grass roots, volunteer led, non-profit organization looking for qualified volunteers to assist us in our mission to inspire and empower paralegals through the advocacy of professional excellence. Newsletter Editor - Gathers content for the newsletter. Prepares and distributes newsletter to members.
Student Liaison - Connects with colleges and Universities, attends events, connects with students and recruits student ambassadors at each school. Contributes content and updates to the newsletter.
Mentorship Program Group - Facilitates our Mentorship Program and contributes content and updates to the newsletter.
Social Media Administrator - Attends events and board meetings. Manages daily posts and responses to Twitter, Linkedin, FB and Instagram. We are currently only looking for volunteers to post to LinkedIn.
Pro Bono Coordinator - Connects members with pro bono paralegal work opportunities. Contributes content and updates to the newsletter.
Community Connections Coordinator - Connects members with other volunteer organizations activities that reflect the mission and values of WSPA. Maintains professional relationships with volunteer organizations and the legal community. Contributes content and updates to the newsletter.
CLE Event Coordinator - Coordinates state-wide networking events and CLE’s, may assist/support chapters in conducting events as requested.
Diversity and Inclusion Committee - Committee members provide training and insights on diversity and inclusion for the WSPA Board and its members. Contributes content and updates to the newsletter.
Ethics Committee - Committee members provide training and insights on ethics for the WSPA Board and its members. Contributes content and updates to the newsletter.
Legislative Liaison - Connects members with opportunities to get involved in legislative activities, coordinates legislative tours twice yearly and keeps up to date on legislation affecting paralegals. Contributes updates and content to newsletter.
Certification Ambassador - Sets up study groups and supports/promotes the PACE and PCCE Exams, conducts info sessions for the chapters. Manages the closed study group on Facebook in coordination with the Social Media Administrator.
Vendor Relationship Manager- Manages relationships with outside vendors, sponsors and sustaining members. Coordinates vendor involvement in events and vendor advertising/marketing.
National Federation of Paralegal Associations Representative - Represents WSPA and its members at the National Level.
Chapter Directors - Connecting with members at the local level, Directors organize a variety of meetings and networking events. Please see the Chapter Directors tab for current openings in your area.
