Real Estate Paralegal

The Seattle office is seeking an experienced paralegal to join its Real Estate team. Paralegals in the highly collaborative Real Estate team perform a range of duties by supporting efforts between attorneys, clients and other third parties.

The candidate selected will provide assistance in all aspects of real estate law. Responsibilities include an understanding of and experience with the following:

  • Title insurance review experience

  • ALTA / ACSM survey review experience

  • Loan documentation

  • Loan closings

  • Real property closings

  • Real property searches

    Minimal Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and paralegal certificate (equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of Bachelor’s degree)

  • 3+ years' experience as a real estate paralegal

  • Strong organizational and file management skills

  • Problem solving skills

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment

  • Exceptional attention to detail when drafting, editing and proof reading documents

  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Mastery of Word, Excel and Outlook

    Desired requirements:

  • Document drafting experience

  • Judicial foreclosures

  • Non-judicial foreclosures
