About The Position

A top tier employment and labor law firm in downtown Seattle seeks an exemplary paralegal/investigator to join our office. We seek a highly dedicated individual who can perform varied and difficult tasks with a minimum of attorney oversight. This position is fulltime. Minimum Qualifications: 5 years’ paralegal (or similar) experience with emphasis on litigation support, trial support, and eDiscovery; B.A., paralegal certificate, or equivalent experience; Expert level computer skills including Microsoft Office programs, Adobe Acrobat, Outlook, Excel, and eDiscovery platforms; Experience utilizing legal database software; Proven ability to meet critical deadlines under significant caseload; Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to conduct witness interviews with minimal supervision, screen potential new clients, and interface with other office staff; Excellent oral and written communication skills; Proven knowledge of e-filing systems, court rules and discovery procedures; Must pass computer skills test and formatting/proofreading skills test. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with background investigations on individuals and businesses; Experience with investigative services for attorneys in civil cases; Professional investigator licensing; ProLaw, Eclipse SE, and/or CaseMap familiarity; Sanction, Trial Director, and/or TrialPad familiarity; Courthouse trial support experience including audio visual operation; Strong analytical skills including the ability to generate Excel spreadsheets and graphs detailing various data points including future earnings projections and damages with minimal supervision; Experience screening potential new clients; Significant tech support and data conversion skills in order to be point person for office technology issues; Spanish speaking a plus.
