About The Position

A small, long-established downtown Seattle law firm is seeking an experienced paralegal to assist with probate, trust, and guardianship administration. The candidate will have experience preparing accountings, managing an estate from start to finish, drafting pleadings, estate distribution schedules and asset transfer documents, and managing documents needed to prepare the estate inventory and tax returns. The candidate must be a team player, have a proactive work ethic, excellent oral and written communication skills, be proficient in proof-reading, be detail oriented, be able to work well under pressure, have strong organization and computer skills, and be proficient in Word and Excel. The candidate should know Court procedures for filing and have a working knowledge of probate statutes and relevant tax codes and regulations. A 4 year degree and a paralegal certificate are desirable. Qualified individuals should submit a cover letter and resume in PDF FORMAT ONLY, including minimum compensation requirements.
