Todd Bowers & Associates, insurance staff counsel for State Farm Insurance companies, is seeking an Office Manager with management or supervisory experience to join Seattle, WA Claims Litigation office. The ideal candidate will have prior experience or knowledge of the civil litigation process, legal administrative support, legal secretary, and/or paralegal functions and duties. Competitive candidates should have high ethics; superior people, teamwork and coaching skills, the ability to help others with change and continuous improvement in a performance-based culture, and should be a skilled communicator in a sometimes adverse, timeline-driven environment. Initiative, innovation, analytical and problem solving skills, and solid writing skills are crucial for this role. The position is classified as a hybrid role, meaning that the work arrangement calls for hours in the office and virtually. Everyone in a hybrid role is required to spend some time in the office. Work arrangements could change over time based on business needs.

Leadership and professional office management experience
Strong IT skills (e.g. Microsoft Word®, Outlook®, Excel®)
Strong academic credentials and a degree is preferred but not required
Insurance defense experience
Familiarity with budgets, performance management, and operational management of facility
