Our Seattle Chapter is in need of a new Chapter Director! After completing her two year term of office, Jeanenne Rutherford chose not to run for re-election as Chapter Director but rather continue to serve WSPA as both our Military Paralegal Outreach Coordinator and as our NFPA Secondary Representative. This means that our Seattle Chapter is now in need of a new leader or co-leaders!
Chapter Directors help organize local chapter meetings, participate as a voting member on the Statewide WSPA Board of Directors, serve as a local contact point for paralegals interested in joining our professional association, and help set the direction for our organization going forward! WSPA provides free Chapter Director traning, lots of support and encouragement from your fellow association leaders, and a modest yearly chapter budget.
Serving in a leadership role in WSPA looks great on your resume, and helps build self-confidence and leadership skills. It is a lot of fun, too! If you are interested in being considered for this opportunity, please email WSPA President Brian Haberly
